Common questions
What happens after I send a booking request?
It goes straight to our booking desk. We match you with an available mixer from the roster and reply with availability and a quote, usually the same day. Want someone specific? Book from their profile and the request goes straight to them.
Do you bring your own gear?
Yes. Every booking includes a full package: recorder, two wireless lavs, boom, timecode, a camera hop and an IFB. Choose a Sound Devices 833 or Zaxcom Nova system.
Why isn't the day rate listed?
Rates depend on the number of days, hours, travel and crew. Extra gear is priced up front so you can see what each add-on costs, and the mixer sends a full quote for your exact package.
Can I request Zaxcom?
Yes. Pick the Zaxcom Nova package in the booking flow if your show standardizes on Zaxcom wireless and timecode.
What areas do you cover?
Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach as a local hire, plus the Florida Keys, Stuart and the Treasure Coast. Travel shoots are quoted on request.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes. Our mixers mic and direct Spanish-speaking talent every week, which helps on Latin American and US Hispanic productions.
What if my mixer is booked?
If your first choice is booked, we'll fill the date from the network with another vetted South Florida mixer.
What kinds of productions do you work?
Reality and unscripted TV, docuseries, commercials and branded content, corporate and events, ENG and broadcast, podcasts and Spanish-language productions. We don't take weddings.
What paperwork can you send?
W-9, invoice and crew details for your production paperwork.
